We ask for a minimum of 2 hours per month

Make new friends and have fun through our social activities as well as awareness and fundraising events

Qualify for our Peg Otway Memorial Award, an intergroup Award for the Visiting Team of the Year -all nominations are put forward by our venues.

All members who have been with the group for 5 years or more (whether supporting or visiting) have their dedication and commitment recognised at a presentation of Service Awards usually during our Annual birthday celebrations


Caring Canines take their much loved dogs into schools, hospitals, hospices, residential and day care units, mental health units......anywhere a visit from a temperament tested, vaccinated and insured dog would be welcomed and beneficial to the residents/users


Give talks to local groups from cubs to Townswomens guilds


Present our  "Be Dogwise" programme incorporating" Safety Around Dogs", "Responsible Dog Ownership" and our special programme for the under-fives, "Charlie`s Storybook", available to local schools, youth groups, etc


We also offer "Be Bookwise"  with those special stars, our "Book Buddies" as part of our literacy initiative - available to local schools


Make one-off visits to various venues  


SUPPORTING MEMBERS are always welcome and enjoy all our events, receive Roundup and have the opportunity to go on "buddy visits"....
